Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Field Technician to diagnose and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. Travel within the region and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will work with various systems including forklifts, engines, hydraulics, and electrical/air systems, delivering high-quality service and clear communication on every visit. CDL preferred; own tools required; CDL may be preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Travel throughout the assigned region.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document service actions.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to order/return parts as needed.
