Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, a premier capital equipment dealer, is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our Seattle, WA team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment at customer sites, ensuring maximum uptime and trusted service.

You’ll travel within your region, handle diverse systems, and communicate clearly with customers while delivering high-quality work. Training and growth opportunities are offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in material handling.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites; perform preventive maintenance.
• Travel within assigned region to service locations.
• Work on electric forklifts, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and other systems.
• Occasionally assist with in-shop repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to identify and order parts.
