Job summary

Intralox is seeking a Field Technician to perform field installations, audits, troubleshooting, and technical support on conveyor systems. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and frequent travel, with duties spanning installation, commissioning, and customer training.

Candidates should have 3+ years as a mechanical or electrical technician, excellent English communication, and the ability to work with customers on site, often at short notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3+ years as a mechanical or electrical technician.
• Strong mechanical background in processing or conveying equipment.
• Willingness to travel 70% domestically and internationally; weekends may be required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Provide warranty support by diagnosing failures, repairs, and component replacement.
• Give technical feedback to Engineering and R&D for continuous improvements.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Troubleshoot field installation challenges and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
• Inspect systems and document detailed technical findings clearly.
• Communicate recommendations verbally and in written reports.
