You will interpret blueprints, lead cable installs, and ensure high-quality terminations with safety and professionalism on every site. Responsibilities include reading drawings, planning weekly material needs, mentoring junior installers, and coordinating with project leads to meet standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• OSHA 10 certification required
• 1–2 years of low-voltage installation experience in commercial construction
• Ability to interpret schematics and read drawings
• Familiarity with color codes and cable termination methods

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate Coax, UTP, DAS, AV, Multiconductor, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Fiber cables.
• Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber systems with test equipment.
• Read drawings, specs, and job scopes; implement accordingly.
• Plan weekly labor and material needs; maintain daily task lists.
• Lead field execution and assist junior crew; promote safety and standards.
• Install equipment like switches, cameras, UPS; manage bonding/grounding tasks.
