Job summary

Next Level Technician in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician to join our team serving Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include pulling, terminating, testing CAT5e/CAT6, installing J-hooks, cable trays, racks, patch panels, MDF/IDF infrastructure, and supporting access control, CCTV, AV, and fiber systems. Must be able to read blueprints and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
• Must provide basic hand tools and PPE.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Test installed cable with testers like Fluke.
• Install J-hooks, pathways, cable tray, racks, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF infrastructure.
• Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, and structured cabling layouts to complete installations.
