Job summary

Instrata is seeking a detail-oriented Installer to support the installation of low-voltage cabling and communication systems on commercial construction projects. This role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and learning on the job.

You'll assist in layout, pulling, termination, and testing of fiber, copper, AV, and access control cabling, reading basic plans, labeling cables, and helping install equipment racks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to mid-level experience in cabling or low-voltage systems is preferred.
• Ability to read basic diagrams and follow work instructions on site.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling, dressing, terminating, and labeling cabling per spec.
• Help install racks, cabinets, cable supports, and fire-stopping materials.
• Assist with mounting and basic setup of switches, cameras, and UPS units.
• Read blueprints and follow installation instructions under supervision.
• Maintain tidy work areas and report progress to Leads or Project Managers.
