DPR Construction in Richmond, VA is seeking a Field Technology Technician to support construction operations with layout verification, data capture, and LiDAR scanning. Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in field technology, construction layout, or a related field.
OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

Performs layout verification, LiDAR scanning, and digital data collection to support construction accuracy and documentation.
Sets up, calibrates, and operates total stations, scanners, and other field technology instruments in accordance with project specifications.
Processes and reviews scan or layout data to identify discrepancies and communicates findings to field teams.
Maintains equipment inventory, conducts regular inspections, and reports service or maintenance needs.
Supports implementation of field technology workflows on job sites to improve efficiency and data quality.
Provides basic training and guidance to less experienced technicians on proper tool usage and safety protocols.
