Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a versatile field technician to support job implementation in various environments. You will work closely with customers and crew to ensure smooth operation, troubleshoot when needed, and help with pre/post trip logs and equipment checklists.

Responsibilities include performing tasks per SOP when senior staff are unavailable, maintaining safety procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of practical training.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe and insurable driving record.
• Must pass drug tests and background checks.
• 21 years of age or older.
• CDL is NOT required but encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Implement job per SOP when Senior Tech is not onsite.
• Communicate professionally with customers and crew.
• Troubleshoot with management when Senior Tech unavailable.
• Assist in project implementation and performance, including checklists and logs.
• Maintain records on- and offsite; manage tools and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in pre-job site surveys.
