Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Field Service professional to perform on-site service tasks and provide phone support to customers in the United States. The role requires both independent work and supervised training, with emphasis on safety and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include communicating with Technical Support, implementing Field Change Notices, and maintaining compliance with safety guidelines while delivering reliable service within the Vertiv portfolio.

Qualifications

• Communicate professionally and respectfully in written and verbal form.
• Manage time effectively by prioritizing technical and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with peers, customers, suppliers, and leadership to complete assignments.
• Complete administrative tasks (time entry, expense reporting, inventory counting, etc.) promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies and procedures.
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based on training completion.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips.
