Job summary

Clear Creek DCS, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician II - Flushing Services in Baltimore, MD to install, operate and demobilize temporary flushing systems in data centers.

You will follow project flushing plans, perform chemical cleaning and water-chemistry testing, and document results to meet acceptance criteria. This role requires reading P&IDs and drawings, coordinating with contractors, and traveling up to 100% for extended projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in a mechanical discipline preferred.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in pipe flushing, chemical cleaning, hydronic/HVAC systems, water treatment, pipefitting, or related mechanical field services.
• Working knowledge of pumps, valves, piping components, filtration equipment, and basic water chemistry.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and written procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug screen for data center site access.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 100%) for extended project assignments.
• Proficiency completing digital field documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and commission temporary flushing systems per flushing plans.
• Operate flushing equipment to achieve and maintain required flow rates and velocities.
• Perform chemical cleaning, degreasing, and passivation operations with proper disposal coordination.
• Conduct field water quality testing and interpret results against project criteria.
• Read and interpret piping diagrams, mechanical drawings, and flushing diagrams to plan work.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Field Technician I.
