The position will primarily travel to participating homes throughout Illinois to deploy and retrieve indoor air quality monitoring equipment and complete related field documentation. The frequency and timing of assignments will vary depending on project needs and the schedules of weatherization partners, utility partners, and participating residents.]

• Ability and willingness to travel frequently between Champaign, Chicago, and other locations in Illinois.

• Valid drivers license and ability to safely complete extended driving assignments.
• Ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents from varied socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to complete assignments according to established schedules.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and consistently apply field protocols.
• Basic ability to operate, transport, and troubleshoot electronic monitoring equipment.
• Basic computer and mobile-device skills for communication and field documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and protect confidential participant information.
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining regular communication with the project team.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes, cancellations, and changing field conditions.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and promptly communicate problems or safety concerns.
