Experience Champaign Urbana in Champaign, IL is seeking a Traveling Energy Auditor to travel statewide to Community Action Agencies, supporting building performance improvements and energy efficiency. This full-time role includes field work up to 75% monthly and time at the Training Center in Champaign.

The Traveling Energy Auditor will travel extensively (up to 75% time each month) to Community Action Agencies across the state of Illinois, providing services to agencies which lack staff in building performance roles, operating specialized tools and equipment for the purposes of improved building performance, energy efficiency, and client health and safety, and recommending appropriate training for Community Action Agency staff when deficiencies are found. Time not spent in the field will be spent at the Training Center located in Champaign, IL.
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., M-F (Flexibility is necessary to support the goals of the ICRT Team.)
