Job summary

Rangeline Group in Conover, NC is seeking a Field Technician Level 1 to assist seasoned crews with the safe setup, maintenance, and operation of tapping and line-stopping equipment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; OSHA-10 and forklift certification within 90 days preferred.
• Experience in underground utilities or construction strongly preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of water main systems.
• Support setup and teardown of tapping, line-stop, and valve insertion equipment.
• Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and work areas.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Follow instructions from senior technicians and job leads on site.
• Participate in pre-job safety meetings and follow safety protocols.
• Complete basic documentation such as safety checklists or field reports.
