Rangeline Group is seeking a Field Technician Level 1 in Lumberton, NJ to support on-site crews in the safe setup, maintenance, and operation of tapping and line-stopping equipment. Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water main systems.
• Support setup and teardown of tapping, line-stop, and valve insertion equipment.
• Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and work areas.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Follow instructions from senior technicians and job leads on site.
• Participate in pre-job safety meetings and follow safety protocols.
• Complete basic documentation such as safety checklists or field reports as directed.
• Observe and learn proper procedures for tapping, stopping, and field repairs.

Description

Field Technician Level 1 supports experienced field crews in the safe setup, maintenance, and operation of tapping and line-stopping equipment while learning Rangeline's systems and standards. This role is ideal for individuals who bring a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn in a physically demanding environment. Mental/Physical Demands and Environmental Factors

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 30 feet
• Exposure to construction hazards, moving parts, and outdoor elements
• Work in confined spaces, trenches, and other field conditions
• Travel may be required on short notice.
