Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is hiring a Field Technician I to support maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecom site infrastructures. You will read customer plans, provide superior service, and perform field work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes doing high-quality work, teamwork, and flexibility to travel as required. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a technical degree preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 1 year of general construction experience preferred; some cell industry experience highly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to work weekends/nights and travel as needed.
• Ability to work on ladders and perform physical tasks (50 lb loads).

Responsibilities

• Provide support in maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecom site infrastructures.
• Read and understand customer plans and perform field work safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to company and industry standards/regulations.
• Review peer work products; other duties as assigned.
