Pace Labs is seeking a Field Technician I to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, water, and related areas. Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Compensation: $15.00 per hour with potential adjustments based on location and experience.

You will travel to sites, collect and test samples, maintain records, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; one year of lab or environmental work is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on role.
• Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel with some overnight stays.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media.
• Perform field services using standard environmental practices and document results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations and ensure safety equipment is ready.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational or customer issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; escalate issues when needed.
