Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Field Technician I to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, water, and related media. You will travel to client sites, collect and test samples, and assist with field operations and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and some experience in environmental or laboratory settings. Travel with overnight stays is expected, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• Experience in related work preferred.
• Willing to travel with some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Continued employment contingent upon maintaining required licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water).
• Perform field services per standard environmental practices.
• Pickup, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials and results.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations and safety checks.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms and databases accurately.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve issues.
• Support review and implementation of field programs to meet needs.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations; escalate when needed.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional interactions.
