Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Field Technician I for an evening shift in the United States. The role involves traveling to customer and environmental testing sites to collect, process, and test samples across air, soil, and water.

You will perform field services with standard practices, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling of materials. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may prefer some lab or environmental experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• The ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with GPS/telematics tracking and inward- and outward-facing safety cameras (no audio recording).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media.
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred

Valid driver’s license
