Job summary

Pace Labs is hiring a Field Technician I to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, and water. You will travel to sites, collect samples, and perform field services while maintaining accurate documentation and equipment.

A driver’s license is required, and some overnight travel may be necessary. The role offers typical benefits and opportunities to grow within Pace’s environmental science division, contributing to safer, healthier communities through reliable data collection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in related work preferred or equivalent education/training.
• One year of experience in a lab or environmental setting preferred.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water, etc.).
• Perform field services using standard environmental practices; complete test kit documentation.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations and maintain logs and forms.
• Assist with field/environmental program reviews to meet needs and regulatory requirements.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional interactions with customers and coworkers.
