Intertek is seeking an Engineering Field Technician I to join the Building & Construction team in Dupont, WA. You will perform testing, observations, and site assessments under supervision, supporting quality assurance and safety programs.

The role requires construction exposure, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel up to 25%. Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather is essential. Intertek offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Some construction industry experience is required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable driving record.
• Willing to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (e.g., soil, concrete) and report data.
• Use drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide testing.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
