Job summary

CaTia Integrated Systems in Independence, Missouri, is seeking an entry-level Field Technician I to support installation of structured cabling, fiber, AV, security, access control, and network systems on commercial projects and national retail rollouts (Target, Dollar, Old Navy).

Under supervision, you will learn company standards, perform tasks, document work daily, maintain safety, and prepare for advancement to Field Technician II as you gain certifications and hands-on experience, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of low voltage, electrical, construction, or related field experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered.
• Familiarity with hand tools and a construction site environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, termination, testing, and labeling of copper and fiber cabling.
• Assist with mounting displays, cameras, wireless access points, access control hardware, and racks.
• Complete daily documentation: photos, task updates, and timesheets.
• Follow safety requirements and report damages promptly.
• Travel regionally and nationally during rollout programs.
