INTERA is seeking a Field Technician in Austin, Texas to support groundwater resource evaluations, aquifer characterization, well development, and field tests. You will work with hydrogeologists and engineers in the field and occasionally in the office, gaining hands-on experience with drilling, monitoring equipment, and data collection.

The role emphasizes dependable project execution, clear communication, and adherence to safety procedures as part of INTERA's groundwater projects across Texas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pumps, motors, field equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 80% across Texas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support aquifer characterization and groundwater projects.
• Assist drilling programs and document construction activities.
• Support pumping tests and aquifer testing procedures.
• Install and maintain groundwater monitoring equipment and collect samples.
• Record field data, logs, and QA/QC data.
• Prepare figures, maps, and project documentation.
• Follow health and safety requirements onsite.
