Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a CMT Field Technician to support engineering, construction, and environmental projects in Texas. You will perform inspections, materials testing, and sampling on-site in Lubbock and Amarillo, with reporting to the Fort Worth office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years of field-based outdoor experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing or ability to obtain within specified time.
• Commitment to OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Properly collect, label, and transport samples from job sites to laboratories for testing and analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results for project managers.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, field supervisors, and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and safety protocols.
