Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Construction Field Technician for the Geotechnical team in the Lehigh Valley, based out of Allentown, PA. This fully field-based role offers hands-on experience with soil, concrete, asphalt, and utilities, with training provided.

No prior industry experience is required; the role emphasizes independent work, learning technical skills, and contributing to project quality and safety from the ground up.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree (preferred).
• 0+ years of related field experience; entry-level training provided.
• Certifications: OSHA 10 required; OSHA 40 if applicable; ACI; Nuclear Density Gauge as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing procedures accurately and in accordance with standards.
• Complete daily reports and testing documents completely and timely.
• Transport, handle, and maintain field equipment responsibly.
• Communicate effectively with management, contractors, and clients.
• Work independently with supervision as needed.
• Comply with Health & Safety and testing policies.
• Occasional weekend/evening/overtime work and overnight travel.
