Job summary

Aggreko in Pearland, TX is seeking a Technician 1 to join our Pearland service center. This role focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors, with hands-on work at customer sites as needed.

You’ll enjoy full-time hours with potential overtime and weekend shifts, a robust training program, and opportunities for career growth; travel may be required and a TWIC or DOT medical card might be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective kW requirements and reading schematics.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based out of our Pearland, TX service center.
• Overtime and weekend work possible; travel potential.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations and perform repairs.
