FIELD TECHNICIAN

In this role, you are the public face of The Junction by assisting our customers with internet service, installations or repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Our Field Service Techs must enjoy technology, working in various environments in all weather conditions, and communicating with various internal departments in order to find solutions for our customers.

Duties

• Provide service and customer support during field dispatches.
• Manage on site installation, repair, maintenance.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes.
• Effectively communicate with other members of team.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Junction customers.
• Set up and explain routers and home networks to enable customer access to the Internet.
• Able to work at elevated heights for extended periods of time.
• Keep Junction equipment and fleet vehicle operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and reporting needed repairs.
• Operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner and in accordance with state and local laws.
• Maintain company-issued assets including tools, equipment & vehicles.
• Follow all company procedures and protocols.
• Arrive to work in a timely manner and be willing to work late to accommodate appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Technologically literate.
• History of sound judgment under deadline pressure.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Current valid driver license.
• Willing to complete industry certifications, as needed.
• Must be comfortable working on roofs, at varying heights & in confined spaces.
• Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to yourself or others.
• Ability to be added to Company auto insurance policy.
