Qualified Professional and Technical is seeking an Engineering Technician for field testing and inspections in Central Virginia. You will support geotechnical investigations, residential foundation checks, and commercial materials testing, working on active construction sites from Glen Allen to the surrounding area.

This hands-on role emphasizes learning procedures, documenting results, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with testing standards and safety

Competenze

• Entry-level to one year of experience in construction materials testing or related construction work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a positive driving record.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 80 pounds.

Mansioni

• Perform field testing of construction materials including concrete, soils, and masonry.
• Support engineering soil studies and residential foundation and footing inspections.
• Assist with laboratory testing of soils and concrete as needed.
• Document field observations, test results, and daily reports.
• Communicate professionally with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Follow established testing procedures, safety requirements, and company standards.
