Job summary

Construction Materials Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete on-site, performing slump, air, temperature, and cylinder tests while documenting results the same day. Training is provided and certifications are sponsored, with opportunities to advance within the field and laboratory tracks.

You will operate safety protocols, manage equipment like density gauges, and communicate results to superintendents immediately, ensuring accurate records for project placement

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in hot and variable conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• We sponsor ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare clear daily field reports.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
