Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature tests and cylinder sets, and document results the same day. The role starts entry-level; we train you and pay for certifications.

You will work outdoors, often at multiple sites, with travel as needed. This is a hands-on position focusing on accuracy, safety, and timely reporting to the superintendent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather.
• Willing to learn and be coached; training provided and certifications sponsored by the company.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
