Job summary

Construction Materials Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature tests, and cast cylinders. You will verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge and document results the same day.

Entry level is welcome; we train and sponsor certifications. Responsibilities include testing per ASTM standards, preparing clear field reports, and maintaining gauge standardization on diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus — we sponsor both.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31; run field density and moisture tests; prepare daily field reports.
• Maintain equipment and chain of custody; communicate results to superintendents on site.
• Work outdoors on active job sites, reading job sites and defending results when needed.
