Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature tests, and document results the same day across our varied project sites. You will start with on-site sampling per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31, and you will learn to operate a nuclear density gauge safely as part of training and certification sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with clean record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to train and obtain certifications.
• Detail-oriented with good note-taking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064 and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938 and document results daily.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody; communicate results to superintendents on site.
