Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and document results the same day. Training is provided, and certifications are sponsored by the company, including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety.

This outdoor, physical role involves coordinating with superintendents, reading job sites, and delivering accurate data. Opportunities for advancement exist into inspection or project roles as you gain certifications

Qualifications

• Entry level accepted; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM standards.
• Run field density and moisture tests.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization and custody of samples.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
