6AM City, LLC in Wood Dale, IL is seeking a Field Technician to perform calibrations, troubleshooting, and field service on customer equipment with ISO compliant work.

You will drive a company vehicle, maintain a clean driving record, travel as needed, and provide excellent customer service while using test equipment and meters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in the scale industry or electronic troubleshooting preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and field laptop use preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• A 2–3 year technical school degree plus 1–2 years related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and preventive maintenance to ensure customer equipment operates optimally.
• Diagnose and resolve field issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Address customer inquiries professionally and maintain long-term relationships.
• Follow ISO quality standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean driving record and safe operation of company vehicles.
• Occasional travel may be required with overtime depending on workload.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in the scale industry or electronic troubleshooting using test equipment and multimeters is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with programming and using a laptop in the field is preferred.
• A technical degree from a 2-3-year technical school and 1-2 years of related experience is a plus.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
