Job summary

Wiliot is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to join our Dallas team. The role focuses on deploying and supporting IoT solutions at customer sites, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

As a field-facing position, you will work with Success Managers and Engineers to bring projects from concept to deployment, solving technical challenges in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience in electronics, networking, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in field service, technical support, or installation roles (IoT, telecom, or hardware environments preferred).
• Basic understanding of wireless technologies such as BLE, RFID, or RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Wiliot’s IoT solutions at customer sites.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Solution Engineers to ensure successful deployment.
• Provide field support and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.

We are seeking Field Technicians to join our Dallas team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will play a critical part in deploying and supporting Wiliot’s cutting-edge IoT solutions in real-world environments.

The Field Technicians are the connecting link between Wiliot’s products and our customers.The Field Technicians are interacting with customers at every step of the journey – From understanding the problem, planning a solution architecture, deploying it at scale and molding the generated data to create customer value.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience in electronics, networking, or a related field
• 0–3 years of experience in field service, technical support, or installation roles (IoT, telecom, or hardware environments preferred)
• Basic understanding of wireless technologies such as BLE, RFID, or RF systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑first mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with hardware tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation
• Willingness to travel locally (and occasionally regionally) to customer sites
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for installations
