We’re seeking a Field Technician to join our Radon Mitigation team. In this role, you’ll install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems, support customers by teaching them how to use their equipment, troubleshoot issues in the field, and ensure all work aligns with company standards and procedures.

We Think You're a Great Fit If You:
  • Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands‑on work
  • Have 1 or more years of experience in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance (preferred)
  • Take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Can work independently and follow established procedures
  • Are dependable, organized, and punctual
  • Are comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and post‑installation testing
  • Educate customers on system operation and maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and warehouse space
  • Occasionally perform light digging or excavation at job sites
  • Document job details according to company policy
  • Represent Protect Environmental in a professional, customer‑focused manner
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns and service needs
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building maintenance (plus)
  • Primary work in a field environment; requires walking, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment
  • Good physical health and ability to perform hands‑on construction work
  • Capable of working in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs
  • Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds
  • Must be able to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
  • Must obtain NRPP certification for radon mitigation within mandated timeline
