Job summary

Veridity is seeking a hands‑on Product Support Specialist in Lenexa, KS to test and validate fire suppression products, provide field and customer support, and train teams on technical issues. The role combines deep product knowledge with practical problem solving across development, testing, and field operations.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, travel as needed, and contribute to continuous product improvements through rigorous testing and actionable feedback.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressively responsible technical experience in fire suppression, special hazards, or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience with clean‑agent or special‑hazard fire suppression systems (FK-5-1-12, FM-200, Inergen/IG‑541).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical specs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute component, material, prototype, and product testing; document results and recommendations.
• Support hands‑on test setups involving piping, nozzle arrangements, and pressure systems.
• Provide manufacturing and field input during design reviews for continuous product improvement.
• Investigate returns, RMA cases, field issues, and root causes to support corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate findings and actions to diverse audiences.
• Travel to customer sites to provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop and deliver technical training and product demonstrations for internal teams and distributors.
