Job summary

Physical Electronics USA Inc. (PHI) seeks a Technical Support Engineer with a strong electronics background to join our team in the Chanhassen, MN area. You will provide remote or on-site technical direction to Field Engineers and customers during instrument installation and when resolving system failures.

This role requires up to 25% travel (domestic and international). We value problem solving, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work in an international context

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Strong electronics knowledge; analytical instrumentation or vacuum tech a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic/international) and eligible for government facility access.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote or on-site technical direction to Field Engineers and customers.
• Assist with instrument installation and resolving system failures.
• Travel to customer sites domestically or worldwide.
