Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be able to retrieve material and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Tolerate non-toxic paint odors and wear a respirator if required.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams rating of at least 'meets expectations'.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Experience selling paint and paint related products.
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language; Spanish preferred.
• Experience with Chemical Coatings products/customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer quality and service expectations are met.
• Assist customers with paint specifications and product applications.
• Troubleshoot online technical problems and product batches.
• Advise customers on product line changes and improvements.
• Maintain equipment use and surface preparation expertise.
• Shade product batches using intermix system.
• Assist with inventory control and re-ordering.
• Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
• Evaluate product complaints and resolve issues.
• Support sales reps with samples and panels.
• Coordinate technical service between branch, sales, and product service room.
• Maintain customer tech service issues for follow-up.
• Keep facility compliant with Sherwin-Williams standards.
• Identify facility problems and recommend fixes.
• Follow loss prevention and safety policies.
• Handle hazardous material paperwork.
