Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Associate Technical Service Representative to join the Bandag team. The role involves hands-on work with industrial retread equipment, training in Muscatine, IA, and travel across the territory with substantial on-site support for dealers.

A company vehicle is provided after training. The position offers a strong training program, travel opportunities (50–75% during training), and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical field is required or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Military electronics/electrical training will be considered equivalent to an Associate's degree.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and quality for Bandag Dealer Franchise locations through technical expertise, training, and project management.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair complex retread equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Coordinate plant installation and modification projects from initiation to completion with external contractors.
• Conduct quality audits and analyze production data to drive improvements and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Bandag dealers and area teams, and document visits and activities.
