Job summary

Johns Manville, a leading insulation and roofing materials manufacturer, is seeking a Technical Representative to support sales by training on installations, performing inspections, and addressing guarantee claims. The role focuses on building strong contractor relationships and promoting JM products across the Tacoma/Seattle area.

The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree or relevant roofing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 3 years roofing experience.
• Low slope commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience giving presentations.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of field applications by JM approved contractors.
• Demonstrate new products to owners, specifiers and contractors.
• Improve JM owner relationships while solving guarantee claims issues.
• Conduct training seminars for owners, specifiers and contractors.
• Maintain relationships with Johns Manville approved contractor personnel.
• May be required to perform other related duties.
