Johns Manville is seeking a Technical Roofing Specialist to ensure customers receive exceptional support across technical and guarantee-related matters. This role evaluates complex roofing systems, advises on best-fit solutions and ensures compliance with JM specifications and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical roofing or construction role.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Registered Roof Observer (RRO) or Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted expert by responding to technical and guarantee inquiries accurately and promptly.
• Partner with customers to evaluate roofing conditions and identify practical, effective solutions.
• Assess unique roofing situations and recommend best practices, including deviations from standard specifications where appropriate.
• Review construction documents with a focus on roofing systems and compliance.
• Evaluate guarantee applications and determine eligibility based on JM standards.
• Ensure roofing systems meet applicable requirements before approval.
• Perform wind uplift design calculations (ASCE 7) to support system validation.
• Apply technical expertise across Single Ply and Bituminous roofing systems and components.
