Job summary

Johns Manville, a leading manufacturer of insulation and roofing products, seeks a Technical Representative to support Sales by providing installation training, field inspections, and product demonstrations near the Tacoma/Seattle area. Travel to customer sites is required.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or roofing experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3 years roofing-related experience preferred.
• Low slope commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Representatives to grow sales by providing installation training and field support.
• Perform inspections of field applications and educate contractors to protect JM guarantees.
• Demonstrate new products to owners, specifiers and contractors to build confidence and repeat purchases.
• Conduct training seminars for owners, specifiers and contractors.
• Maintain relationships with Johns Manville approved contractors and field personnel.
