Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.
• Ability to climb towers to install, maintain, and repair sensor equipment and components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot site infrastructure including generators, solar, hydraulics.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on towers including guy wires, anchors, and lightning protection.
• Experience operating aerial lifts and forklifts.
• Ability to travel to remote regions up to two months annually (≈50%).
• Relocate onsite in Costa Mesa, CA if not local.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret/Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support military defense projects by executing technical operations, field maintenance, and customer training.
• Tackle hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured environments until resolution.
• Communicate field issue status to internal and customer teams.
• Support development and implementation of operational and logistical plans for events.
• Ensure high availability and performance of defense systems.
• Maintain support plans for hardware and software.
• Assist in event planning and resource allocation, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Perform RCAs for field defense systems and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation.
