Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer for the Air Defense team. This Costa Mesa-based role requires hands-on deployment, field support, and collaboration with engineering to evolve products.

You will own field solutions and guide customers through operational use and troubleshooting. You must be prepared to travel up to 80% of the year, relocate on site in Costa Mesa, and obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years solving complex problems at hardware-software-network interface.
• Ability to climb towers to install, maintain, repair sensor equipment (cameras, radars, PTUs).
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot site infrastructure (generators, solar, hydraulics).
• Experience preventative maintenance on towers and safety structures.
• Able to meet health/medical requirements for deployments per DFARS and DoDI guidelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and relocate onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Anduril products globally during early lifecycle stages.
• Coach teammates and guide customers through product use and troubleshooting.
• Inform account managers on operational structuring for technical success, and relay product feedback to engineering.
• Develop and implement operational/logistical plans for events and deployments.
• Ensure high availability and performance of air defense systems.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and support plans for hardware/software.
• Contribute to incident analyses and preventive measures in field deployments.
• Coordinate with teams to allocate resources and keep stakeholders informed.
• Perform post-incident reviews to drive improvements.
