Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join the Air Defense team in Costa Mesa. This is an on-site role with no remote work. You will perform technical operations, field maintenance, and training for military air defense projects.

The role requires climbing towers for sensor installation, maintaining generators and hydraulic systems, and traveling up to 80% of the year. A Top Secret/Secret clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years solving problems at the hardware–software–networking interface.
• Ability to climb towers to install and repair sensor equipment and components.
• Experience maintaining critical site infrastructure including generators and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to relocate onsite in Costa Mesa, CA and travel up to 80% of the year.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret/Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical operations, field maintenance, and training for air defense projects.
• Tackle issues at the hardware–software–networking interface and drive them to resolution.
• Communicate field issue status to internal and customer teams.
• Support the development and implementation of operational and logistical plans for events.
• Ensure high availability and performance of air defense systems.
• Maintain support plans for hardware and software.
• Assist in event planning and resource allocation and keep stakeholders informed.
• Perform incident RCAs and implement preventive measures in the field.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation.
