Job summary

SITECH Pacific in Paso Robles, CA, is hiring a Construction Technology Field Technician to install and service Trimble GPS and machine control systems on heavy equipment. Travel to customer sites across the region and provide training and top-notch technical support.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, GPS/machine control experience, and strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills. Company vehicle, fuel card, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with heavy equipment, GPS, hydraulics, or machine control technology.
Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Reading electrical schematics is a plus.
Comfortable using computers, MS Office, and diagnostic tools.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Trimble GPS and machine control systems on heavy equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on construction technology equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and technology-related issues.
Train customers on how to operate and use technology systems.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support at customer job sites.
Work independently while collaborating with sales and service teams.
Travel to customer job sites throughout the region.
