Job summary

Wärtsilä North America seeks a Technical Workforce Coordinator to support onboarding, induction weeks, and development programs for our frontline technical workforce across the Energy Business in the US. You will coordinate logistics, training materials, budgets, travel, and stakeholder communications, collaborating with operations leaders, HR, and vendors to ensure a smooth employee experience.

Travel up to 70% is expected; a degree in a related field and at least 3 years of program

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in program coordination, project management, workforce development, training administration, onboarding, event management, or related experience.
• Strong program coordination and organizational skills; excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience managing multiple program calendars and schedules; logistics coordination and planning.
• Ability to work independently; proficiency with collaboration tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate induction weeks, training materials, and onboarding resources.
• Plan, schedule, and deliver workforce orientation and induction activities across the Energy Business.
• Coordinate budgets, vendor payments, and expense reporting; manage vendor onboarding.
• Support career fairs and regional workforce development events and activities.
• Assist with tracking participant engagement and program metrics; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and operations leaders to ensure smooth experiences.
