Envera Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair physical security systems at customer sites across Florida. You will handle access control, video surveillance (analog and IP), and low‑voltage installations, with emphasis on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in computer networking or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security systems, CCTV, access control, networking, or programming.
• Strong electrical background with knowledge of low‑voltage systems and electrical materials.
• Low‑voltage expertise including relays, loops, and input/output systems.
• Hands‑on experience installing and servicing complex electronic security systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing systems at customer sites.
• Experience with IP‑based product configuration (IP address, DNS, VPN).
• Familiar with card access and IP video platforms such as eMerge, SonicWall, IP video platforms.
• Skilled in video surveillance system and camera installations; experience with NVRs and video analytics.
• Understanding of relay logic and troubleshooting cables and devices; familiarity with fiber optic and Cat5e cabling.
• Strong Windows skills; able to navigate LAN environments within security installations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair physical security systems onsite to restore full functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to service contracts.
• Troubleshoot system issues remotely using designated software and internet access.
• Travel daily to customer sites throughout Florida to support service needs.
• Participate in an on‑call emergency service rotation at least two weeks per month.
• Independently research and resolve equipment issues with minimal oversight.
• Support special projects and complete additional duties as assigned.
• Provide technical assistance on related support issues as needed.
• Address operational matters as directed by the Service Coordinator or Manager.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time‑management skills; work independently and as part of a team.
