Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking a Field Tech III in Fairfax, IA for full-time on-site deployment of IoT sensor systems. You will lead a pod of 2–5 technicians, train new hires, and ensure safety and quality across sites.

You’ll configure devices, manage wireless networks, and coordinate field operations while delivering real‑time data to customers. This hands‑on leadership role rewards performance, reliability, and mentoring future technicians.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience installing industrial sensor tech.
• 3+ years in construction tech deployments.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+.
• OSHA 10/30 certification required.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Strong customer-facing skills.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to train and mentor teams.
• Experience with Access Control, Networking, IoT.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor field tech hires.
