Job summary

Lonestar Forklift in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a mechanically inclined Field Technician (Heavy Equipment or Automotive) to join our Service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment and coordinate with parts and service staff.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in equipment repair, strong problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license. This onsite role offers competitive pay and benefits within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of material handling equipment repair/diagnostic experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and diagnosing and servicing electric engines is an asset.
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
• Communicating with the Service Dispatcher about ongoing jobs and completing tasks timely.
• Discussing service job details with customers and clarifying repair requirements.
• Coordinating with Parts to order and prepare required parts before site visits.
• Maintaining documentation such as work orders and warranty paperwork.
• Reporting safety incidents promptly and following safety policies.
